Accommodations

The conference will take place at ETH Zürich (Zürichberg, above the city centre), within easy walking or tram reach of Zürich HB and central districts.
For your convenience, we list a few mid-range hotels within comfortable walking distance. We have not negotiated special conference rates; the list is for information only and does not imply endorsement. July is peak season in Zürich: we strongly recommend booking as early as you can.

Getting to ETH

Zürich is well connected by air and rail.

From Zürich Airport (ZRH): follow signs to the train station (Zürich Flughafen). Take the next suitable train toward Zürich HB (often an S-Bahn; check the departure board). About 10–15 minutes, very frequent. Buy tickets in the SBB app, at ticket machines, or at sbb.ch before boarding.

From Zürich HB to ETH: about 10–15 minutes on foot (mostly uphill), or by tram, or take the Polybahn from the Zürich Central stop (lower terminus near the river, not HB) up to the ETH/Polyterrasse area.

City transport: Zürich uses integrated tickets (ZVV — https://www.zvv.ch). For most central travel, you need zone 110; airport trips require additional zones beyond zone 110. A 24-hour pass is often simplest (check current fare in the app or at a machine — prices change). Please purchase/validate your ticket before boarding.
