Event Description

The Network for European Studies invites submissions for the 8th International Conference on European Economics and Politics, which brings together Economists and Political Scientists interested in the empirical and theoretical debate on Europe and the world. The Conference provides a forum of discussion for scholars interested in the current economic, social and political situation, in the evaluation and design of institutions and policies in and on Europe in a global context. It is hosted by the University of Milano Bicocca on July 14-15, 2026.

 Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  1. Macro, money, banking and finance
  2. European governance
  3. Wellbeing, inequality and polarization
  4. Migration and trade
  5. Climate change and energy policies

  • Early Bird Registration: May 1-20, 2026

  • PhD students early bird registration: €200
  • Late registration: €500
  • PhD students late registration: €250
