Overview
The Future of Europe
Authors of papers presented at the conference have an opportunity to submit their work to the Special Issue of Research in Globalization. The aim of this Special Issue is to assemble policy and research papers, which, by starting from the assessment of recent economic, human, social, and political developments, might yield insights on the future of Europe beyond the current distress.
The special issue is mainly concerned with the governance of the European Union and its institutions, the climate challenge and the transition to a carbon-free economy foreseen in the Green Deal, the monetary, fiscal, and regulatory responses enacted to fight against the recessionary effects of the pandemic.
