“Under pressure”: decoupling learning and performance to reduce school anxiety
Principal Investigator
Abstract:

This project addresses rising school anxiety among high school students and its consequences for learning and well-being. It implements a field experiment in Milan schools to test interventions targeting performance anxiety. The approach focuses on reducing the link between grades and self-worth rather than only managing symptoms. The goal is to improve both academic outcomes and students’ mental health.
