The project aims to improve SME default prediction by complementing traditional financial statement data with information automatically extracted from corporate websites. Since accounting data are released with significant delays, the study develops timely online indicators to capture early signals of financial distress. The goal is to build nowcasting models of insolvency risk that are more up-to-date and informative than those based solely on offline data.
